Introduction
 
Christopher Nolan’s film, Memento, is about an individual experience of physical trauma leading to short-term memory syndrome in the central character. The film presents the story of an insurance investigator, Leonard Shelby, who is hunting for the murderer of his wife.  Following a vicious attack that led to his wife’s death, Leonard Shelby  has sustained a blow to the head that resulted in short-term memory loss.
